I have experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and have experience with IBM SPSS Statistics v23.0. Completed projects so far include:
Signs of the Times? Smartphone use in the modern social group context.
MSc thesis. Quantitative project which focused on the use of smartphones in relation to freely forming sub-social group conversational cliques. Public observational method used to collect circa 500 individual data points, and analysed using parametric tests such as one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, and multiple regression.
Poetry in Motion: Contact through poetry and haiku.
BSc dissertation. Qualitative project which focused on the use of poetry and haiku as a language in subjective work with clients. Primary focus on relevance in brief work with young people. Case study approach based on medium term counselling work with a client.
